Look Who’s Talking
For the past one week or so (if I remember correctly) Zoe started to make sounds that are more ‘high level’ as compared to the crying sound that is already pre-installed in her since birth…hee hee
Some of the sounds she made so far:
- Ehh….. (When I heard this, I am reminded that my parents used to tell me not to address people with "Eh!" - no manners especially in front of older people. As for Zoe, I guess she is trying to tell us something like:
Eh..! What are you people eating huh!?) - Huu…Huu… (This is her fake cry, when she wants attention and wants to be carried. This sound comes with very pitiful (fake) facial expressions with pouting lips
- Ack..! (This comes very sudden and loud, especially when hubby and me are busy talking. Probably, Zoe is trying to tell us: Ack…! U all too noisy la)
- An-goo…(This one always make me melts and wanna hug, hug and kiss her. She usually said an-goo to me when I am cleaning her up, changing her nappy or burping her. So, I take it as she telling me: Yes Mommy! u r doin a good job, make sure no more smelly poo-poo left on my butt and more drapolene cream please…ahh….)
- Ptuut…Ptuut (comes with salive bubbles) - This one is taught by me one morning on the way to the babysitter. I was trying to keep her entertained and started ptuut…ptuut..ptuutt at her. She was staring at me very intensely and suddenly to my surprise, she started pouting her lips and follow after me. I jump up in joy and almost hit my head at the car top

I remember old folks used to said that if baby start playing with saliva bubbles, means its gonna rain soon…kekeke. Nevermine laa, since she looks so cute doing it)
Zoe is really getting more playful nowadays, especially in the evening when we took her back from the nanny. She would want our attention and start to make all sorts of noise. She especially like it when Daddy play superman with her - means holding her posing like superman flying and running around the house as if she is flying. She will smile and smile and show her two cute dimples.
Sometimes, Zoe will respond to me when I sing to her, especially songs like Jesus loves me and Twinkle Twinkle little Star…She will go…an-goo..uur..urr…as if she wanna sing along with me
