Boxing Day at Tony Roma's
This happened last year..lol!
On Boxing Day, we decided to head over to Midvalley/The Gardens to have a peep at the Christmas deco there before they put it down. Just right before we got out, Daddy already exclaimed that he wanted something nice to eat for lunch! Haha…(its because we always ended up in Yoshinoya everytime we are in Mid Valley)
We reached MidValley around lunch time and we sorta shortlisted either Tony Roma’s or Paddington’s pancake house after I have read quite some review from bloggers. I decided for Tony Roma’s after looking at the prices, since they are having set lunches which are really better for our pocket lah…
Some pics below…
Menu and Daddy enjoying the Roma Ribs
Onion Rings Appetizer - Quite surprised to have onion rings this way but its super delicious!!! (RM12.90)
Daddy ordered Roma ribs and we think its the best beef ribs we have ever tasted. It’s quite pricey thou, RM29.90 for 2 ribs but since it’s a set lunch, it came with soup and drink. The mushroom soup is nice too - very wholesome.
I ordered this bow pasta to be shared with Zoe (RM19.90 a set with soup and drink). But, Zoe wanted the Roma ribs instead…clever girl!
The pasta is good also but the serving is huge, can feed 2 people.
The restaurant is quiet and not as noisy as Chilli’s or TGI’s
Just for the ribs, I think we will be back for sure. I also heard that they serve pork ribs (same cooking style) in other countries like Singapore. We will definitely try that porky ribs if we ever head over to Singapore…mmm…mmm….

Keven sings praises of Tony Roma's pork ribs. If only we didnt have dinner setuup for us both nights, I would have even be able to tell you how good it could have been!
